Scope of the role:
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s technology vision, ensuring its alignment with business objectives. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CTO will lead innovation efforts, oversee the development of cutting-edge products, and manage robust, secure, and scalable technology operations. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for leveraging technology to drive business growth and foster innovation.
Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy and Vision
- Define and implement a forward-looking technology strategy aligned with the company’s mission.
- Identify emerging technologies and assess their potential for enhancing competitive advantage.
Leadership and Management
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing technology and IT team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Provide technical direction and leadership to stakeholders across the organization.
Product Development and Innovation
- Oversee the design and delivery of innovative, market-driven products and features.
- Partner with product management to create scalable, user-centric solutions.
Technology Operations
- Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of all technical systems and infrastructure.
- Establish and enforce best practices in data management, cybersecurity, and compliance.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a key liaison between technology teams and other business units to ensure alignment on goals.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Budget and Resource Management
- Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Oversee vendor negotiations and relationships to drive value and efficiency.
Requirements
- C1 English level, with excellent verbal and written communication skills (Must Have)
- 5+ years of experience as a CTO or in a similar senior technology leadership role (Must Have)
- Proven expertise in software development, IT, and systems architecture (Must Have).
- Demonstrated ability to lead technology teams and drive business growth through innovation (Must Have).
- In-depth understanding of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Strong strategic thinking and a track record of aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and team-building capabilities.
- Adept at solving complex problems with a forward-thinking approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Nice to Have).
