Your Role
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the performance, availability, and observability of Azure-hosted applications and services. You'll bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring products are resilient, secure, and fast.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure in Microsoft Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to define and implement observability strategies (logging, metrics, tracing)
Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on automation, speed, and safety
Develop and enforce best practices for incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems
Participate in on-call rotation to address outages and ensure high availability
Perform capacity planning and load testing to support scalability
Define and track service level indicators (SLIs), objectives (SLOs), and agreements (SLAs)
Contribute to infrastructure and cloud security best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, or Systems Engineering role
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services (Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Monitor, Azure DevOps)
Proficiency in scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service)
Deep understanding of networking, DNS, SSL, and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates)
Familiarity with observability tools (Application Insights, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
Effective communicator and collaborative team player
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience managing production workloads in Microsoft Azure
Experience in a SaaS environment preferred
Relevant Azure certifications are a plus (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect)
